About Teacher
Julee Andrews has been teaching piano in Armidale for fifty years. She has two teaching diplomas and has attended many professional development courses. The main goal in her successful teaching career has been to understand the needs of each individual student and the best teaching methods for their development. When in her early twenties, she studied with a pupil of Alfred Brendel and in 1978 she obtained a Fellowship in performance through the Trinity College of London. Piano technique and performance are a priority along with teaching young children the most efficient way for fast recognition of notes on the grand stave. She has had many successes preparing students to sit for A.Mus.A., L.Mus.A. and HSC performance examinations.
