My name is Aaron and I have been teaching for over 8 years, working with up to 20 students per week with ages ranging from 5 to 60. I have been drumming for over 15 years and have experience playing in multiple bands, one of which was Exit Row which brought me many experiences such as playing on Channel 9 Sunrise Live and also performing our largest gig for the Wanderers Soccer Team with a crowd of over 10 000. As of now I am pursuing a career as a solo Artist under the name XMPLA.
I like to give a more realistic approach to learning, making sure the lessons actually suit your learning style because everyone learns in a different way! Start with the basics of drum beats, rudiments, technique and also reading and writing drum notation. If you are more of an advanced player, we can build your improvisation, independence, polyrhythms or even become a better band member.
