About Teacher
Jennifer completed a degree course in performance at the Royal College of Music in London before a Postgraduate year at the same institution. She has completed the following degrees at the Royal College of Music in London: PostGrad.RCM; Dip.RCM (Performers); ARCM (Teachers); LRSM (Performers) Whilst at the College she was a finalist in the Chappell Medal competition, the highest award for piano at the RCM. She won the Scarlatti prize and a bursary to study at the Mozarteum Summer School in Salzburg, Austria. She was also part of the Royal College of Music Chamber Choir, which performed at Westminster Abbey, Kings College Cambridge amongst others. Recently Jennifer has also completed European Piano Academy’s course for teachers that focuses on using European and Russian piano teaching methods. Jennifer, together with coloratura soprano Lucy Bailes, was guest performer at the Sydney Eisteddfod piano finals, held at the Sydney Conservatorium. She has given many solo piano concert recitals in Australia, England and South Africa. With many years of teaching experience and her students regularly achieving high results at AMEB examinations Jennifer can teach students of all levels – from very beginners to Certificate of Perormance, AmusA and LmusA. Jennifer is available for piano lessons at her studio in Rosebery as well as in the following suburbs of Sydney where she teaches at students’ homesGeneral Information
