About Teacher
My name is Ekaterina. I hold a Bachelor Degree in Music, graduating is 2003.I've been teaching for over 17 years now. I use my skills in pedagogy, piano music teaching methods and traditions of the world most recognisable Russian school incorporating it with a modern approach of teaching children in Australia. Ekaterina's Music School was established in 2005 when I moved to Australia where I continued to work with kids. In 2011 I relocated to Melbourne, bought a house and created my own music studio where now I currently teach. I have a lovely grand piano at my home .I teach children & adults alike. I offer piano, voice and theory lessons. Also I prepare for AMEB and VCE exams. Also I'm an accompanist and often go to competitions and exams with vocalists and instrumental students. As well as all that I'm a currently in a live rock band as a keyboard player. At a lesson I focus on developing student's technique, sense of rhythm and musicality which leads to a creation of musicianship. I find an individual approach to every student and can create a customised program to suits any needs. First half an hour lesson is free of charge.General Information
