About Teacher
Anthony Pell has been playing bass guitar in bands for over 15 years with experience in styles including rock, funk and jazz. Anthony also possesses a Bachelor of music degree assuring that students will become more competent bass players through learning music theory. This understanding will ensure that they become more adaptable in diverse musical situations. Anthony also teaches acoustic and electric guitar. Bass guitar lessons are designed to improve technique and overall musicianship and cover the following: Aural Training – learn to hear and recognize note intervals, chords & harmony Technique – including finger picking & slap Theory – including reading, scales, chords & modes Time – including reading & keeping time Musical Styles – how to play rock, funk & jazzGeneral Information
