About Teacher
I’m a guitar, bass and ukulele teacher with over 10 years of experience. My love of guitar began at the age of five. I’ve pursued it ever since, and now strive to bring that passion into my lessons. A solid grounding in music theory was built through childhood piano lessons, and further developed while attending the University of Wollongong. I have an extensive knowledge of popular music styles from the 1950s to the present, so there’s a good chance that I’ll be able to accommodate your preferred learning material. Outside of teaching, I play in local bands Library Siesta, and The Moderate Themes. Songwriting has been a big part of my life, and I encourage students to explore their creative side if they’re so inclined. My patient but engaging teaching style allows room for students of all ages to learn at a pace which suits them. I’m confident that you’ll find it helpful. Lessons are based in Penshurst; I’m a five-minute walk from the train station. Video lessons are also available, should distance or other factors be of concern.General Information
