About Teacher
Simone Collins is an experienced and qualified Electronic Organ, Piano, Keyboard and Theory of Music teacher, offering lessons from her private studio in Canning Vale. She is an Accredited Teaching Member and Secretary of the West Australian Music Teachers’ Association. Simone specialises in contemporary piano / keyboard lessons, focusing on the Rockschool Piano / Keys syllabuses as an exam option, as well as catering for regular AMEB Piano and Piano for Leisure syllabuses. Contemporary piano and keyboard options are also available through Con Brio, the Australian Guild of Music and Speech (AGMS) and St Cecilia Examinations. As an electronic organ / electone teacher, Simone is able to take students through exams with the AGMS (now only available up to Grade 7 level) or St Cecilia’s (through to Diploma level). Simone was awarded the AGMS Top Teacher award for teaching the student with the highest mark from Grade 7 to Fellowship for practical music in Western Australia in 2023; her student completed an associate-level Professional Performance Diploma in Electronic Organ. Simone Collins is also a published arranger, and can provide dedicated music theory and composition classes on a regular or casual basis.General Information
