About Teacher
Principal Annette Anderson B.Mus.Ed., A.Mus.A (Sydney Conservatorium Accredited teacher and Department of Education Approved teacher with more than 20 years of teaching experience in preschool primary and high schools) has a great passion for music and a love of teaching children. Annette has had broad experience in teaching children in a variety of educational settings and takes great interest in working personally with each child. Annette has also worked as an examiner for the Australian Music Examinations Board. Children’s Music Academy uses well tested traditional and innovative contemporary approaches to music education aligned with recognised Australian examination and educational systems. All music lessons include: Graded solo and ensemble music to encourage interest and musical appreciation. Musical games & sight reading to capture children's attention, foster creativity and finger agility. Reading, rhythmic & aural skills are nurtured, helping to encourage musicality and a good musical ear. General music knowledge and theory. Your child's progress is constantly monitored and an examination and graded level programme is offered. Formal assessment days are offered each year.General Information
