About Teacher
I believe music to be a gift to ourselves and to the world, a vehicle of expression and transformation. With a broad background in performance and teaching I am passionate about sharing the world of music with others. While my lessons are structured and goal orientated, I work intuitively with my students to meet their individual needs. Alongside Technique, imitation of rhythm and tone and improvisation are key elements of my work, as is playing together. I love composing and will often compose with students so they can share in the joy of translating their own work to their instrument.General Information
