About Teacher
I have a Master Degree in Music and Piano Specialisation, which is the equivalent to AMusA. I have been a piano teacher in Perth for over 20 years. I am an accredited teacher of the W.A. Music Teachers Association. Technical work is a priority and through it we develop the student's attention, self awareness, self confidence and memory. My work leads my students to focus their mind in controlling the freedom of their shoulders, arms, wrists and fingers, whilst avoiding muscle tension and frustration caused by the difficulties that come with tension. According to researches, these cognitive skills help a student to develop strength to face future challenges in their life. It's very important that a student starts their piano practice in the correct manner for the development of their piano abilities. My students learn how to enjoy their piano, instead of fighting it and to play music, not just notes. They are able to play the piano as a musician, not as a robot.General Information
