Sally Hughes is from England and has been in Australia for thirteen years. She has been playing the piano since the age of 8. She studied Flute and Piano at Bath University, England. She has a diploma in Flute Performing : LRSM, (equivalent to AMUSA} and Grade 8 Piano from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, London and a B.Ed.(Hons) degree in Music. She has a wide range of performing experience as a soloist, in an Irish Folk band, orchestras, chamber music, pit orchestras in the theatre, accompanying students on piano for examinations and concerts and playing jazz flute. Sally has been teaching piano, keyboard and flute for 30 years to all ages and levels in Primary & Secondary schools and privately and adjusts lessons to students' interests.
