About Teacher
Dr Brieley Cutting welcomes students who are dedicated to developing their skills, from beginner and school-aged students studying for AMEB exams, to tertiary and professional levels. She is a Full Member of the Music Teachers’ Association of New South Wales and a Steinway Educational Partner. Brieley has over 20 years experience as a piano teacher and has been based in Sydney since 2020. She currently teaches from her Studio in Forest Lodge (close to Glebe and Annandale). For those who become part of Brieley’s Studio, they receive one-to-one lessons on a grand piano, regular Studio Newsletters with updates and information, and they can be a part of two Student Concerts each year. Aspects of technique, sound production and style are central to Brieley’s teaching, alongside encouragement to develop individual musicianship and career pathways. ​Brieley’s students have graduated with bachelor and masters degrees, attained AMEB Diplomas, and been prize winners in piano competitions and eisteddfods. Her students regularly receive distinctions and high distinctions for their practical examinations.General Information
