About Teacher
Bernadette is Head of Performing Arts (Music, Drama and Entertainment) at an Independent College in Sydney and teaches in her own studio in Alexandria. She graduated from the NSW State Conservatorium of Music in 1987, and has worked in Music Education and tutored Piano, Theory and assisted HSC students with their music studies throughout her career. Other qualifications that Bernadette has attained include a Master of Educational Administration (UNSW), Associate of Music Australia (AMEB) and Certificate III in Live Production, Theatre and Events (NIDA). Bernadette has extensive experience teaching classroom music from K—12 (including Music 1, Music 2 and Extension courses). Her expertise tutoring in Piano and Theory encompasses all levels, beginners to advanced, across a broad spectrum of stages. Bernadette has had consistent success with students achieving outstanding results in the Higher School Certificate and AMEB examinations, as well as students learning to play for leisure.General Information
