About Teacher
I have a long cello career, as I began very early. As a talented child I was sent to train with world-renowned cellists in Paris, France. From there I worked in the best orchestras and toured internationally. After spending 6 months as a resident artist in Banff, Canada I worked with the Australian Chamber Orchestra before taking position as the assistant Principal cello with the Hong Kong Philharmonic. In 1998 I returned to Paris for another nine years before coming back to Australia. I worked regularly with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, The Australia Opera & Ballet Orchestra, and the Tasmanian Symphony orchestra. I now teach privately in Potts Point, and welcome all levels and all ages. The student will need to bring their own cello. I will then advise each lesson what music they will need and what practise they should do for the following lesson. Whether preparing for an exam or an audition or just learning for the pleasure, I will adapt appropriate learning methods to achieve your personal goalsGeneral Information
