Michelle has been teaching piano for over 15 years now and it is her passion to inspire her students to learn and progress to the best of their abilities. Michelle is devoted to tailoring the lessons to meet the needs of the individual. Whether you want to focus on learning how to read music, play your favourite songs or learn music theory, she will design a lesson plan to meet the needs of the student. It is her mission to make the lessons as engaging as possible. Michelle’s goal as a music educator is to instil a love for music and help students develop into self-sufficient creative musicians. She incorporates technique, theory, musicianship and songs in a fun and relaxed manner. ABOUT Michelle: Michelle has been playing piano since the young age of 6 and has been passionate about music ever since. As a teenager she expanded her musical studies to include other instruments. Apart from her general appreciation of music, the diversity of styles that Michelle has enjoyed and experienced can be largely attributed to her time spent at Box Hill Institute College of Music in Melbourne where she studied the Diploma of Music Performance (Contemporary) 2002 - 2003. From a young age she has worked very hard on her musicianship skills and has undertaken many AMEB exams. Michelle also teaches ONLINE lessons for ages 13 and upGeneral Information
