Musical Keys is owned and operated by Rachael Martin, providing individual and group tuition in keyboard/piano and theory for students of all ages and levels. With a love of contemporary music styles, Rachael teaches from a wide range of materials so that students can enjoy learning to play piano across a range of genres, as well as traditional classical repertoire. Rachael provides a thorough training in theory and music reading, and specialises in enabling people to perform at their best under performance/audition conditions. Having taught classes with the Yamaha Music School since 2002, Rachael brings many years of experience to working with children from the age of 4 years. Rachael also enjoys helping adults start or continue music lessons as she believes no-one is ever too old to enjoy making music! With a warm and caring approach, you will enjoy lessons with Rachael. Rachael has completed tertiary studies in both Music and Music Therapy with over 15 years of experience working in both areas. Her training in Music Therapy shapes the way she teaches with a focus on building students' self-confidence and self-esteem while learning to play and read music.General Information
