About Teacher
Kimberly founded her own music studio in 2013 and at the studio we offer piano, singing and theory lessons. Kimberly has completed her double degree, Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Music, at the University of Melbourne in 2011. With majors in Voice, German and Theatre Studies and a minor in piano, she undertook a year-long exchange programme to the University of Vienna (Uni Wien) to further her studies. She has been working as a piano and voice teacher for 6 years now, alongside her lead singer position at the Immaculate Conception Church Hawthorn and some freelance accompaniment. Last year, she performed as a pianist in cabaret-flavored Viet Kieu in the Fringe Festival, which received excellent reviews from The Age and The Guardian. She was also a choral scholar at the Scot's Church for two years. As a highly active singer and actress, Kimberly is very much devoted to theatre productions. Last year she sang in the chorus of The Mikado with Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Victoria. Kimberly wishes to share with her students the same joy she experiences from music playing and performing. Her philosophy is to inspire students with an enjoyable learning environment leaving them eager for the next lesson.General Information
