About Teacher
Learn music in a challenging yet supportive environment. My students enjoy their lessons. They explore music and the role of music in expressing their emotions. They discover that they have a connection to music. They consider music and how it relates to the individual. They ponder how society influences music and how music influences society. This enhances their learning and yields excellent results in their AMEB examinations as well as their performances throughout the year. Their musical journey becomes a personal journey. They also see music as a social influence. They learn about the history of music and how music has changed throughout history. They learn how music reflects social trends. I teach instrumental music giving individual piano lessons as well as small groups. I have a thriving music school. I teach in my studio in Tecoma and I also travel to teach some students. Schools I currently teach at are St. Leonard’s, St. Simon the Apostle as well as St Joseph's in Hawthorn. In addition to this I teach classroom music at various schools as required. I am passionate about teaching and I am prepared to devote extra time and effort to ensure that my exam students achieve good results.General Information
