About Teacher
Bringing together 30 and 50 years of ACT musical history respectively, the merged organization offers Canberra’s largest program of instrumental, ensemble & orchestral tuition, musical experiences and workshops, and performance opportunities. As a non-profit organization with a community focus, Music for Canberra encourages people of any age (starting as early as 18 months old in our ‘Music Play’ groups), any ability (including ‘Mixed Ability’ music & drumming groups for people living with a disability) and any background to take up an instrument or singing, and experience the benefits music can offer.
