About Teacher
I take students of all ages and levels. My youngest students are 3 years old and came to me with no music or violin experience. Between 3 and 6 is generally the best time to start, but everyone is different and I can advise you further when we meet for a free introductory lesson. I also enjoy the challenge of taking on students who have learned elsewhere but not expereinced the success that they are looking for. Without a doubt, there will be reasons as to why a student is not achieving to their potential and it gives me great pleasure to find these reasons and work with the student to overcome them. My students generally stay with me for many years and most of them continue learning the violin until they reach and pass the highest AMEB levels. I have limited spaces available for the rest of 2017 and also some spaces available for 2018. Please contact me to arrange a free introductory lesson. I have many violins, so if you are just starting, don't buy one straight away as I may have one that you can borrow, most likely free of charge. If you are serious about learning the violin properly, I would love to hear from you. Everyone is different and even if I feel that I am not the right teacher for you, I am happy to put you in contact with other teachers who I know to be capable.
