Guitar Acoustic, Guitar Classical, Guitar Electric - Sam McAuliffe

About Teacher

Learn guitar performance, theory and composition from an experienced, professional and passionate guitar teacher in Hobart’s northern suburb, New Town. Study with someone who understands the music industry: not only is Sam an experienced educator, he is a graduate from Monash University where he gained a bachelor of music with First Class honours, as well as a Masters in Music Performance, and he performs regularly throughout Australia with some of Australia’s most renowned musicians. Sam’s guitar lessons are personally tailored to suit each and every student and can cover a variety of areas. Whatever style of music you’re interested in, Sam can help you to achieve your goals. Lessons are prepared and structured so that each student gets the most out of their lesson time. If you want forget about theory and simply learn your favorite riffs and chord progressions, that’s fine, if you want to study advanced theoretical concepts and compositional techniques, that’s okay too. Tuition is available to students 8 yrs and above and all abilities. Whether you’re a hobbyist, semi-professional musician, applying for music academy/university, or preparing for formal exams (AMEB etc.), Sam can provide you with the tuition you need.
